The World is your Oyster
When i was 21 years old, a wise men told me “Traveling will make you wiser”. I didn’t understand what that meant because I had never traveled before and honestly had no intention to. That was unthinkable, as my parents would say, it was for “rich people”. But that changed when I got a job and they sent me on an international flight.I was scared, excited, confused but willing to take the risk (I didn’t have to go when they asked). This, however, truly opened my eyes to the wonderful things this world has to offer. Now, as I get older, I make it a point to travel once a year to a place I have never been before. Now, I understand what this gentleman told me.
So don’t wait, go, explore, the world is indeed your oyster.
This year for me is Washington DC. I have never been here before so I am excited to explore it.
Always bring a good book, good traveling handbag and get a drink at the airport(or not).
